The former president's Granddaughter Receives Professional Advice from Tiger Woods Ahead of Professional Golf First Appearance

Kai Trump will have plenty of high-profile supporters as she starts her professional golf debut on Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who happens to be connected to a former US president, obtained a sponsor's invitation to compete at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.

Her grandfather, an avid golfer, operates multiple golf courses and regularly plays against his granddaughter.

"He's fairly competent. I can't say much but we play some close matches," she stated.

Kai explained that her grandfather, who won't be present, counseled her: "Just avoid anxiety."

"My grandpa essentially told me to go out there and relax," she added.

"From my perspective, he's just an ordinary family member. He can't make it this weekend. He's occupied with presidential duties, making him rather occupied."

Being non-professional, Kai has participated in only three events this year and holds position 461 in AJGA standings.

However she can get advice from 15-time major champion, who is dating her mother.

"He stands as the best player globally," the young golfer said.

"Furthermore, he's an even better human being. He advised me to go out there, relax, following whatever happens."

The golfer will compete against multiple the biggest names in professional golf at the competition, including world number two the champion, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.

The LPGA mentioned that involving Kai brings golf to new audiences, especially reaching youth audiences.

The young star maintains a massive following and has started an exclusive apparel and wellness label.

The competition starts at late afternoon GMT.
