Man That Grabbed Ariana Grande on the occasion of Red Carpet Event Banned from Singapore
An individual of Australian nationality who jumped across a fence and grabbed celebrity Ariana Grande has been deported and prohibited from Singapore.
The man, 26, was given a sentence to over a week in detention for disrupting public order and has now been "banned from entering the country again," the country's border control informed Singaporean press.
The man shoved past photographers and approached aggressively the actress and singer, who was attending the regional launch for Wicked: For Good on 13 November. Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo pulled him back from Grande.
He has a background of interrupting performances and star-studded occasions, including rushing the stage at Katy Perry's Sydney concert in the past June.
The incident provoked strong reactions in Singapore, with numerous people claiming he of causing further distress to the star.
The singer has mentioned dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder after a explosive incident at her performance in the English city in several years ago killed over twenty people and hurt numerous attendees.
Throughout the court proceedings, the authorities learned he had made efforts to breach on the movie's debut twice, according to Singaporean media.

Wen later posted videos expressing gratitude to the star for allowing his presence and said he was "released."
Authorities detained him the following day and brought charges against him with public nuisance, to which he confessed.
The District Judge the judicial official was quoted by Channel News Asia as stating that Wen was "attention seeking", adding that he was mistaken to assume he would not face any penalties.
Grande has not spoken about the case.
Cynthia Erivo mentioned the incident to the press, remarking that she "just wanted to ensure my friend was secure."
"I think he had no intention to us injury, but you cannot be certain with those things, and I wanted to make sure that she was OK. That was my first instinct," she commented.
